Buckower Felder BF 7 Winking Froh

At the beginning of September, Winking · Froh Architekten celebrated the groundbreaking ceremony for construction site 7 of the "Buckower Felder". Based on the urban design and colour concept on Gerlinger Straße, the so-called "Blue House" marks the start of the new showcase quarter in Berlin-Neukölln. Together with the Governing Mayor of Berlin Michael Müller, the Senator for Urban Development and Housing Sebastian Scheel and the District Mayor Martin Hikel, the Managing Director and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Wohnbauten-Gesellschaft Stadt und Land celebrated the start of construction for the climate-neutral urban quarter. In addition to 38 flats and an assisted living community, a neighbourhood garage with around 300 parking spaces and a mobility station, a kindergarten and a youth recreation facility are being built on construction site 7. In 2020, Winking  · Froh Architekten were commissioned with the general planning services for the construction site after a negotiated procedure with a competitive bidding process.
