With the attendance of Hamburg's Senator for Science and Second Mayor Katharina Fegebank, the construction of the Atelierhaus on the campus of the University of Fine Arts (HFBK) on Lerchenfeld was celebrated on February 5th with the presentation of the construction sign. HFBK President Martin Koettering praised the language of Bernhard Winking's architectural design, which is related to, but doesn’t compete with the main building by Fritz Schumacher. The urgently needed new studios by Winking · Froh  Architekten are being realized with Sprinkenhof GmbH and should be ready by summer 2021.
